The Subcontracting Portal automates all subcontracting steps, from signing agreements to collecting payment. The Subcontracting Portal is only accessible to licensed private investigation agencies, attorneys, insurance agencies and any other business that utilizes the services of private investigators. It is B2B only, meaning that it's not open to the general public.

Subcontracting Portal Questions
Who can access the Subcontracting Portal?
The Subcontracting Portal is only available to licensed private investigation agencies, attorneys, insurance companies, and any other company who contracts the services of private investigators. It is not open to the general public or to investigators who do not have a licensed agency.
How do I join the Subcontracting Portal?
You can submit your application online. We will review the application and check your licensing status on your state’s licensing website. The process takes about 24-72 hours. Once you’re approved, you will receive an email from us.
Can I also post employment ads if I sign up for the Subcontracting Portal?
Yes, Subcontracting Portal members have access to subcontracting jobs and employment ads.
Is it open to private investigators outside of the US?
No, not right now. Maybe in the future.
How do I find a subcontracting job on the site?
Once you log in, you will see ‘Find Work’ on your dashboard. You will be able to search for cases via map view or listing view.
How do I submit my proposal on a job?
It's as easy as clicking on 'Apply Now'. Some jobs are posted as open budget and others are fixed bid. For the open budget jobs, you can quote the job poster whatever you wish. The fixed bid cases only accept offers at that specific budget.
Can I see what other investigation agencies are quoting the job poster?
No. That information is confidential.
Do all jobs request the money to be escrowed upfront?
No, this is up to the job poster. Some companies escrow the payment, while others pay later (3 days after the case is done to 30 days or more). The payment terms will be posted in the job listing, so you’ll know what the details are before you bid.
Can I see the profile of the job poster or job bidder?
Yes, you can see their identifying info and their past reviews.
Can I communicate with the job poster or job bidder?
Yes. The site offers secure messaging.
Can I upload large files to send to the job poster?
Yes, the site allows for large files, videos included. The job poster may also generate a link for the file, which they can share with their client.
Is all data safe?
Yes. We have taken all reasonable precautions to keep your data safe. Our hosting provider's servers are continuously scanned and protected by an antivirus software and a firewall. They also have additional security at the network layer. Their data facilities are SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type 2 audited.
Is there a fee?

We strive to ensure all job listings are legitimate. However, if you have concerns about a particular listing, please contact us through our support page. Additionally, research the private investigation company offering the job and look for reviews or additional information online. Although we verify the credentials of all companies during the sign up process, credential status changes. This means that you’re responsible for double-checking all information, before choosing to do business with a company.
